Luis is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) dedicated to helping clients achieve optimal health and performance through therapeutic and rehabilitative massage.

Originally from Portugal, Luis earned a Bachelor degree in Physical Education from ULHT in Lisbon (1998) and spent six years teaching high school, fostering a deep understanding of human movement and the importance of physical well-being. Luis also worked as a Personal Trainer (2005-2007), further developing expertise in exercise physiology and individualized training programs.

Driven by a passion for helping others move and perform better, Luis pursued a career in massage therapy, graduating with honours from CTS Canadian Career College (2024). Luis is committed to expanding his skill set and is currently pursuing certifications in Active Release Techniques (ART) and Myofascial Release.

While his primary focus is therapeutic massage, Luis is also proficient in a variety of other massage techniques, including pre-natal and wellness massage. Luis’ goal is to empower clients to unlock their maximum potential by addressing the root cause of their discomfort and developing personalized treatment plans to facilitate healing and improve function.

Outside the clinic, Luis enjoys spending time with his family, including keeping up with a busy toddler. He’s also a familiar face at the pickleball courts, where he’s an NCCP Certified Level 2 Instructor running his own academy and providing lessons to players of all levels. Recently, he expanded his coaching expertise by becoming a Course Facilitator for Tennis Canada, training new instructors. A keen kitesurfer, Luis enjoys the challenge and freedom of the sport and has spent years instructing and honing his skills on the water.

Niko is a graduate of Ljubljana University in Slovenia in Europe and has been practising as an Occupational Therapy for over 20 years in different parts of the world and Canada. He has taken postgraduate courses in neuro rehabilitation, upper extremity rehabilitation, lymphedema management, arthritis management, wheelchair prescription, home modification and many others to increase skills and knowledge. Jenna graduated from Queen’s University, where she completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. After six years of practicing in Toronto and Vancouver, she decided to return to her hometown with her family. Jenna has trained extensively in Women’s Health, and has developed a true passion for helping individuals during the more vulnerable stages of life. She has a special interest in pre/post-natal care, incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and more. Jenna is committed to empowering and guiding women through their pre- and post-natal journeys, helping them feel confident and supported every step of the way.

Jenna’s holistic approach to assessment and treatment empowers her patients—both pelvic and orthopedic—to understand their conditions and achieve their personal goals. She is a firm believer that “motion is lotion.” As a former varsity basketball player, Jenna’s own experience with injuries sparked her passion for physiotherapy, and she quickly realized her calling to help others recover and regain function.

Jenna utilizes a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue release, IMS/dry needling, and biomechanical retraining (exercise) to help her patients lead more active, functional, and pain-free lives.

I graduated in 2018 from India, where I gained valuable experience in managing musculoskeletal and pediatric conditions. My approach integrates patient education, soft tissue release, manual therapy, and individualized treatment plans to achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes.

Doug Linklater HBPE, BEd, BScPT, Sport Med Registered Physiotherapist

Doug attended the University of Western Ontario, where he completed his degrees in Physical Education (1992), Bachler of Education (1993) and Physiotherapy (2003). He acquired his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic (2004).

His passion for physiotherapy stems from the his time at the University of Western playing varsity football, alpine ski racing and lacrosse, where he won the Vanier Cup and several OUAA provincial championships. He has 20 years of experience focusing on sports injuries and orthopedic physiotherapy.

Doug worked as the primary physiotherapist for the men’s Canadian Alpine Ski Team for many years, while attending 2 x Winter Olympics (Turin, Italy 2006 and Sochi, Russia 2014), 2 x World Championships.

Doug has more than 30 years of coaching experience, which gives him a platform to help athletes at both high performance and recreational levels in our community.

He continues to play tennis, mountain bike, kayak and coach ski racing on our local hill, as well as chasing his two young daughters around the hockey rink and down the ski hill

Vickie graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1994 and has been working with sport and fitness athletes for 29 years as a registered physiotherapist. She is a National Strength & Conditioning Association Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA CSCS), a certified Functional Movement Screen Level 2 practitioner, a certified Pilates instructor, and has earned her certificate as a Health & Wellness Lifestyle Coach through York University. As an HTCP Level 2 Trainer, she was the trainer for several Clarington Girls Hockey & Clarington Minor Lacrosse teams, & designed training/injury reduction programs for Team Ontario Lacrosse.

Vickie strongly believes in the power of movement as medicine. She bases her treatments on optimizing her client’s ability to move in a way that is healthy and efficient, creating the foundation to improve fitness, acquire the attributes important to sport performance and reduce risk of injury. Vickie has developed an extensive toolbox of hands-on skills to help her clients achieve their goals, including functional dry needling, soft tissue release, manual therapy and kinesiotaping.
